The Mawalla Group was founded in 1961 as a law firm by Advocate Juma Sawaya Mawalla, a respected barrister and honorary member of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ). Anchored on the core values of people, culture and time, which has evolved into the ‘Mawalla Way’, the firm grew organically into a legal and corporate services group aimed at servicing Africa’s unique needs.
